Gracie Holder graduated from Chisholm High School on May 15, 2021.  She lives in Hennessey with her family but has gone to Chisholm since the eighth grade.  Chisholm High will miss Gracie Holder.

Holder was Class President her freshman, sophomore, junior years and decided to be Class Vice-President this year.  She is involved with Student Council, Spanish Club, FCA, basketball and track.  She is valedictorian, an honors graduate and a member of the National Honors Society with a grade point average over 4.0.

Gracie played basketball all four years, starting her junior and senior seasons. In track, she runs the 100, 300 hurdles.  The 300 hurdles are her best event and she qualified for state with a time of 50.20 seconds.

She joined FCA her freshman year at Chisholm and has help the group grow.  They average about 50 students at their meetings twice a month.  She has grown up in church and puts a priority on her faith.  FCA helps her remain grounded in her faith.

Gracie writes a monthly column for Enid Monthly focusing on Chisholm activities.  Her most recent column was a senior farewell.  He loves writing so you might pick up a copy of the free magazine.

Holder has earned an academic scholarship to Southern Methodist University in Dallas and will study English and pre-law.  She thinks she will go to law school.    

When asked about a favorite memory, Gracie sad there were a lot of great memories. She talked about Mr. Snyder’s AP history class her junior year.  One day they met outside with no paper or pens and reflected on a quote and embraced life in a unique way.

Gracie Holder is a unique young woman that has great things ahead of her.
