Players to Watch

Softball 

Alaina Pierce – Alva

Alaina has been the starting catcher for the last two seasons. She works hard and is passionate and caring both on and off the field. 

Madysen Ryel – Cherokee

Madysen is a strong leader on and off the field. She sacrifices so much to be the best at what she does.

Alayna Long – Fairview

Long is a leader in the circle and at the plate. She hits with power and is returning from a back injury from last season. Alayna has committed to Seminole State. 

Unsung Heroes 

Football

Aiden Sanborn – Cherokee

He has always made football a priority and has been willing to do all the extra things to make himself better. He may be a little undersized to play on the offensive line but what he lacks there he makes up for with attitude and effort. 

Sawyer Hutchison – Fairview

Sawyer is a great teammate. He has played through many injuries and never missed a practice or a game. A great leader in the locker room as well as in the hallways at school.

Jaxon Meyer – Ringwood

He is smart, competitive, and has a drive to win. He has a high level of understanding of the game.

Robert Perot – Waynoka

Robert is a utility guy that can play anywhere on the field. Robert was also the team’s leading tackler last year with ease.

Jorgia Nichols – Alva

Nichols is a stellar kid and a great teammate. 

Lexi Williams – Cherokee

She has put in a lot of work to get to where she is. 

Abbey Wahl – Fairview

Abbey will always do whatever she can to help the team.

Underclassmen to Watch

Football

Kai McHenry – Cherokee

Kai is going to be a force to reckon with. He came on last year late in the season as a freshman and really started to grow. He has developed so much over the offseason.

Isaiah Burris – Fairview

Burris is an explosive wide receiver. He is a great route runner and understands how to get open. He is also an extremely hard worker in the weight room. 

Cody Conaway – Ringwood

Conaway is young but big, strong, athletic, and very coordinated. He has a very good understanding of the game on both sides of the ball.

Jaycee Kelln – Alva

Kelln is a skilled athlete that has a lot of potential this season.

Olivia Cortright – Cherokee

Olivia has put in a lot of work this offseason and is ready to get out and make an impact. 

Jayli Nightingale – Fairview

Whether she is on the field or in the dugout, Nightingale is always cheering on her teammates.
