GIRLS

Coach: Dennis Hart

20-21 Record: 3-16

The Lady Panthers are looking for a big turnaround from a year ago, thanks in part to the number of players returning with good varsity experience. “We are returning four starters from last year’s team that only had one senior and two juniors,” said coach Hart. “We will also add a strong freshman class that will help bring depth and scoring to the team. I expect some learning time at the beginning of the season with so many young athletes, but we should progress as the season goes on.” Reagan McReynolds (6-2, Fr.) is a strong post player with exceptional passing ability. She is developing her moves in the post and continuing to improve as a shooter. Emily Davis (5-7, So.) has a high basketball IQ and enjoyed a great summer improving her shooting abilities. Kiera Deterding (5-7, Fr.) can run the floor thanks to her athleticism and is a good shooter. She also brings the ability to play salty defense thanks to her length. Shay Skaggs (5-4, Sr.) leads by example. Skaggs is a guard who has developed into a team leader. Lindy Theophilus (5-8, Sr.) will play the wing where she can run the floor in transition. Also look for Lexi McConnell (5-7, Sr.) who is a good three-point shooter and can get to the rim. Her physical play can really set the tone for the team.
