Coach: Ryan Donaldson
21-22 Record: 12-11
Coach Ryan Donaldson returns a plethora of experience this season to accompany a talented group of underclassmen. “This year we should be very experienced with potentially five senior starters. We are tough, scrappy and very competitive. We play with a ton of effort and have several good leaders. I’m very excited about this bunch,” said coach Donaldson. Leading the way is senior Sydney Haken (5-5) at point guard. Haken, a VYPE Top 100 selectee, brings a high basketball IQ to the floor and is a all-around solid player. “She works extremely hard and is one of the most competitive players I’ve ever coached. She is a true leader on and off the floor. Carries a 4.0 and goes out of her way to make an impact on everyone she comes across,” said coach Donaldson. Kelsey Kramer (5-8, Sr.) is a four-year starter and will play small forward this season. “She is athletic, a good shooter and an aggressive defender. She wants to win and is willing to do anything to make it happen. She’s had to deal with injuries throughout her career but never backs down when faced with adversity,” said coach Donaldson.
Makayla Chartier (5-11, Sr.) starts at power forward with Allie Stowers (5-9, Sr.) at center. Rounding out the senior class is Taleah Gregg (5-7, Sr.) at shooting guard. Anna Franke (5-8, Jr.) is the lone junior and will play small forward. Kenzi Kramer (5-7, So.) is a combo-guard who is expected to give the team some quality minutes on the floor this season. Other players to watch include Jennifer Groves (5-9, So.), Ali Mier (5-7, So.), Rylee Thomas (5-5, So.), Randa Smith (5-9, Fr.), Addy McLane (5-6, Fr.), Alli Griffin (5-6, Fr.), Alyssa Fowble (5-6, Fr.), Kymber Cook (5-8, Fr.), Tia Ender (5-3, Fr.), River Harrington (5-3, Fr.), and Haley Kegin (5-2, Fr.).
