RINGWOOD RED DEVILS
Coach: ERIC BRADLEY
6-6
OFFENSE
The 2022 season ended in the second round of the Class B playoffs. As they prepare for this new season, head coach Eric Bradley is ready to see the growth that his team has made in the offseason. “This team is coming off of two successful years,” he said. “We have nine total returning starters. I am looking for this team to continue to build off last season, continue to work hard, play for each other, and be their best.” Rowdy Schmidt (6-2, 180, Sr.) will lead the Red Devil offense from the quarterback position. Working hard to keep the defense out of the backfield will be the offensive linemen, anchored by Wyatt Miller (6-0, 240, Sr.) and Jace Haffner (6-0, 220, Sr.). Braedon Harmon (6-0, 230, Sr.) will split time between tight end and offensive line. Running backs Cody Conaway (6-1, 230, Sr.) and Alex Gonzalez (5-9, 175, Sr.) will try to find the open running lanes and get to the end zone.
DEFENSE
Bradley’s defense is one that is an attacking and blitzing defense. Reyes Martinez (5-9, 175, Sr.) and Conaway will be at linebacker. In the secondary, Noah Schmidt (6-0, 130, So.) will be at defensive back, ready to shut down the opponent’s passing game. At the line, nose guard Logan Miller (6-0, 230, Sr.), along with defensive ends Jose Navarro (6-0, 200, Sr.) and Gonzalez will wreak havoc and be disruptive.
