Enid Area

9 Q’S With Kingfisher’s Kinlee East presented by Integris Health

VYPE: What is your favorite part about being on a team?

Kinlee: Learning the game together and getting to know everyone as their own individual person.

VYPE: What has your sport taught you that you use in your daily life?

Kinlee: Softball has taught me to be responsible and don’t wait until the last second to get things done.

VYPE: Why are you passionate about your sport?

Kinlee: From a young age I’ve just felt connected to softball in a way and I just really enjoy playing it.

VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you?

Kinlee: I think that’s the great thing about having a team, everyone brings something different. From helping me with my walk with Christ, to making me laugh even if they don’t mean to, making plays to save a game and supporting me even when things aren’t going the smoothest my team is pretty great.

VYPE: Which professional athlete do you look up to?

Kinlee: Grace Lyons. She is a great athlete all around and is an amazing follower in Christ.

VYPE: Who inspires you?

Kinlee: My dad has been my biggest supporter and has been there for me through my ups and downs in my sports.

VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade?

Kinlee: Mrs. Karcher, she was my kindergarten teacher and my sixth grade teacher. She has pulled many of my teeth and was there when I broke my arm the first time and has always supported me.

VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you?

Kinlee: I would go to the Beach with my mom because we both like the beach and the sun.

VYPE: Here is your chance to give a shoutout or say thank you to anyone you wish.Kinlee: Shout out to my mom and dad always for having my back.
