Anndi Sharp is a senior at Garber High School where she is a member of the FFA chapter and a varsity softball player.
“I joined FFA as soon as a student can be in FFA which is eighth grade. Prior to FFA, I was in 4H-Club at the age of nine,” said Sharp.
Sharp is a fourth generation Wolverine and was born and raised into the Garber FFA
program as she puts it. Sharp said, “it’s a family tradition.” “I enjoy Raising and showing sheep on all levels, county, state and national. I currently serve as the sentinel. Besides raising and showing sheep, I participate in Livestock judging,” said Sharp.
Sharp is a member of National Honor Society, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Pep Club, and is serving as senior class vice president. Sharp said anyone interested in FFA should give it a chance.
“The leadership skills and opportunities are endless. There is something for everyone. The friendship made through the FFA will outlast my lifetime,” said Sharp.
The senior gives credit to her parents as being a big influence in her life and, “they have taught me everything I know,” said Sharp.
Sharp loves playing softball and loves her teammates.
“What I love most is leaving the softball program better than it was. Last year we were district champions for the first time in 15 years, and this year we hosted district playoffs which was a first for Wolverine fastpitch. What I love most about my teammates is our bond. We all join together on Wednesdays to pray for each other and strengthen our relationship with God,” said Sharp.
Sharp said she plans to continue her education and studies to become an Esthetician.
