KREMLIN-HILLSDALE LADY BRONCS
GIRLS
Coach: Randy Vaught
22-23 Record: 21-8
Excitement is building as the season gets closer to tipoff for the Lady Broncs. Head coach Randy Vaught returns a good mix of seasoned vets and new faces to the lineup. “Have had at least 20 wins and made Area tournament last two years. Return a lot and add a very good ninth grade group to the mix,” said Vaught. Aowyn Seek (5-9, Sr.) averaged 15 points, 10 rebounds and 4.0 steals per game last season. The power forward is a two-time VYPE Top 100 player. Pepper Elmore (5-6, Jr.) will start once again at shooting guard where she averaged 8.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, 3.0 steals and 4.0 assists per game.
Coach Vaught calls the tandem one of the best 1-2 punches in Class B and said Elmore is the most athletic player he’s ever coached. Elmore is a two-time state champion in track & field. Jaidyn Castillon (5-5, Jr.) is a combo guard who averaged 4.0 points, 3.0 assists and 1.3 steals last season as a sophomore. Maddy Lockhart (5-5, So.) is an exciting underclassman who can play both guard spots as well. Audryn Dehdezi (5-9, Jr.) will likely start at center where her 8.0 rebounds a game will be a real difference maker. “Hard worker, very strong, relentless rebounder, and defender. She was limited offensively last year but worked extremely hard this summer improving her offensive game,” said Vaught. Other players to watch include Taryn Ellis (5-5, Sr.), Morgan Hayes (5-6, Sr.), Linsey Lockhart (5-9, So.), Aidyn Seek (5-6, So.), Abbie LeCrone (5-6, So.), Brenli Baker (5-7, Jr.), Katy Jo Hayes (5-3, Fr.), Addison Schovanec (5-3, Fr.), Chayley Nickeson (5-5, Fr.), and Lanie Atherton (5-3, Fr.).
