Softball  Players to Watch

Macie Andrews – Chisholm

A real gamer, who plays her heart out every night. Pitched the team to the 3A state tournament last fall. 

Jorie Kingcade – Covington Douglas

As a freshman, she started every game at shortstop, while she moved to catcher during her sophomore and junior seasons.  She will switch between third base, pitcher, catcher, and some shortstop this season.

Emma Spring – Drummond

Emma will be a four-year starter at pitcher. She pitches every game for her team. She looks to have another great season this year. 

Audra Boyer – Garber

Audra is a junior and returning starting catcher who hit .350 last year. She is an extremely hard worker who has improved substantially from each year.

Harlee Dowell – Hennessey

Harlee is a versatile player that will play shortstop, third base and catcher this season. She will be a key player in the team’s success this season.

Taryn Rhodes – Kremlin-Hillsdale

Taryn is a smart, tough, hard nosed softball player. She has the capability to pick runners off at first and third as well as throwing out runners trying to steal second. She is not only a threat on the defensive side but also on the offensive side, having a career batting average over .400. 

Kaiden Spidell – Medford

Kaiden is an incoming freshman for the Medford Cardinals softball team. She can play in multiple positions and has great versatility.

Ella Gibson – Pond Creek-Hunter

Gibson will be starting in her fourth consecutive season. She is a solid player and a team leader. 

Henslee Powell – Timberlake

Henslee has been a starter for the last two years. She has done everything that has been asked of her. Going into her junior year, she will be asked to fill more of a leadership role.

Emma Lukaseik – Kingfisher

Emma will make the move from first base to shortstop this season.  She will also be one of the team’s top hitters.

Karsyn Vallerand – Okarche

Karsyn will be a four year starter at pitcher. She has been a key player all four years, makes good grades, and is a great person off the field as well.

Volleyball Players to Watch

Ashley Winter – Chisholm

Winter is a three year starting setter with great leadership skills on and off the court. She is always being positive to her teammates and is the positive force that drives the team forward.

Clara Caldwell – Oklahoma Bible Academy

Clara already has a wealth of experience to go with her natural ability. She started all season as a sophomore and saw extensive action as a freshman on teams that appeared in the state tournament.  

Football Unsung Heroes

Seth Carlson – Enid

Played in every game as a freshman and has the skill to be a great player.

David Nagel – Garber

Nagel has played multiple positions and will do whatever the team needs. He works extremely hard in the film room as well as the weight room. 

Antonio Robles – Hennessey

He is a hard worker and will be an anchor on the offensive line at center.

Carlos Vega-Hughes – Kremlin-Hillsdale

Carlos works very hard and is a great teammate. He has overcome a lot to get where he is but he will be a key part of the team. 

Peyton Smith – Medford

Smith is a great kid that has made a lot of progress. Looks to have a strong season.

Jakob Colby – Oklahoma Bible Academy

He works hard in the weight room and on the field. He plays the game with a lot of energy and passion.

Dakota Wingo – Pioneer-Pleasant Vale

Dakota always shows up and gets the job done. A great leader by example.

Colten Lormand – Timberlake

He has played center for the last three seasons. He is a smart young man and is a key player on the offensive line.

Giulianni Martinez – Cashion

Great kid who shows up everyday and does exactly what he is supposed to do.

Slade Snodgrass – Kingfisher

Slade is always the hardest worker in the room or conditioning himself to be in shape. Always pushes those around him to make them better as well.

Kyle Lewis – Okeene

He works hard at whatever he is doing. He is a great leader, not only on the field, but also, off the field. 

Caymon Wieczorrek – Watonga

An all around great kid, Caymon is always ready to give it his all.

Softball Unsung Heroes

Ally Meek – Chisholm

Meek has worked hard to get where she is. Willing to do whatever it takes to help her team.

Elli Garcia – Covington Douglas

Ellie is always cheering on her teammates and being a positive influence.

Brinley Buchanan – Drummond

She is a great kid that is always ready to work. 

Ashlyn Todd – Garber

Todd has worked hard in the offseason and has improved her play.

Madi Vaverka – Hennessey

Vaverka is always ready to work and put in the time. 

Macy Davis – Kremlin-Hillsdale

Macy is the definition of what a student-athlete should be. Smart as an athlete as well as in the classroom.

Brooklyn Cink – Medford

Cink has the potential to be a solid player this season.

Brinkley Bartley – Pond Creek-Hunter

Brinkley has worked hard to get to where she is now. And she continues to work hard and get better.

McKenna Mach – Timberlake

Mach helps the team by doing wherever is needed. She does the little things that many times don’t show up on the stat sheet.

Natalie Dick – Kingfisher

She is a great team player and always ready to help. 

Addy Arms – Okarche

On the diamond and in the classroom, Arms always gives it her best.

Volleyball Unsung Heroes

Peace is a good athlete that is always working to get better.

Kamber Riffel – Oklahoma Bible Academy

Riffel has the skill and ability to be a solid player.
