Waynoka Railroaders basketball Preview – Presented by Integris Waynoka Family Clinic

BOYS

Coach: Kent Callison

20-21 Record: 2-15

The Railroaders are still a young team coming into the new season, but they do have more varsity experience than they did last year at this time. “The team was majority freshmen last year. We have another good freshman class coming this year,” said coach Callison. “Success will depend on how our sophomores have developed and how quickly our upcoming freshmen adapt to the speed of the high school game.” Kooper Rich (6-5, So.) will play a major role in helping this team overcome the youth on the roster. Rich has the potential to be a top player in the class. Robert Perot (5-9, Sr.) is known for his work ethic and is an excellent student in the classroom.

Daycen Cunningham (5-7, Fr.) can shoot from any area on the court and handles the rock like a veteran. Wyatt Attwood brings leadership to the court for coach Callison. Attwood will help the younger players mature into solid varsity ballers. Look for the Railroaders to compete and play hard this season as they work to develop into a solid team by gaining more experience with each game.
