9 Questions with Enid’s Carson Nault – Presented by Rib Crib

VYPE: What are your personal goals for the year?

My personal goals for this year would have to be to have a healthy season and make state in outdoor track in the 800.

VYPE: What is the most fun you have had in the last year?

The most fun I’ve had in the past year would have to be becoming a conference champion with my team for cross country.

VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade, and why?

I don’t have a favorite teacher but I’d replace that person with my coach Justin DeClerck, he pushes me to stay positive and be the best I can be he’s been coaching my since elementary school so I’d choose him. 

VYPE: What is your favorite athletic memory?

My favorite athletic moment would have to be me running the 800 at regionals for track last year, I ran a personal record of 24:33 and placed 5th even though I didn’t make state I had my whole team cheering me on.

VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?

The teammate that has left the biggest impression on me would have to be Lucas Martinez, he pushes me to be the best I can be he’s been there at every race with me and I’d like to make state in the 4 by 800 relay. 

VYPE: What is your favorite part of being on this team?

My favorite part about being on the Enid high team would be going on long runs as a team we just have fun during it and it’s a great environment in total.

VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation. Where do you go, and who do you take with you?

If I could pick any place for a vacation I’d say it’d have to be anywhere in Colorado I loved going down there a few years ago and It would improve my lung capacity while running up there. 

VYPE: If we gave you $500 and you had to spend it in the next 24 hours, what would you spend it on?

If I was given 500 dollars and had 24 hours to spend it I’d probably end up buying a pair of running shoes like ASICS megadoses sky+.

VYPE: Do you participate in any community service projects?

Enid high host an annual blood drive four times a year, I volunteer as much as I can for it.

VYPE: What Clubs or Campus groups are you involved with and why?

I’m apart of Enid highs cross country and distance track team as well as student council, I would like to try and run for president or vice president this year, I think it’d be an amazing experience.
