Enid Football Preview: Offense – Presented by Security National Bank

Head Coach – Rashaun Woods

2021: 3-7

Last season was a tough one for the Enid Plainsmen. But as they enter the 2022 season, they are ready to put that behind them and start fresh. Third-year head coach Rashaun Woods says that with the experience they have coming back, this team is ready to hit the field and compete. “We return sixteen starters from last season’s squad,” Woods said. “We are coming into this season with a positive attitude and outlook and ready to show what we can do.” Leading the Plainsmen offense at quarterback will be Bennett Percival (6-3, 180, Jr.), who had a solid season a year ago and looks to build on it and help his team be successful. Joining him in the backfield will be running back Luke Ruah (6-2, 205, Sr.). Along with playing football, Ruah is also a member of the Enid track team, and he will use that speed to benefit him on the field. Percival will have a few targets to choose from at wide receiver with Tykie Andrews (6-1, 185, Sr.), Seth Carlson (6-1, 185, Jr.), and Brock Slater (5-11, 165, Sr.) all ready to contribute. On the offensive line, Evan Sullivan (5-10, 260, Sr.) will work with his fellow linemen to keep Percival protected and also open up running lanes for Ruah and the other backs.
