Enid’s Brock Slater – Athlete Spotlight – Presented by Advantage Eye Care

Second baseman Brock Slater has made a big impact on the diamond in his senior year for Enid.

During a Plainsmen seven-game winning streak in April, Slater had a 4-for-4 performance at the plate in Enid’s 16-8 win over Jones on April 15. He doubled twice, scored three runs and finished with four RBIs. On April 8, he had two hits in three trips, including a triple, and drove in three runs against Ponca City.

“Good leader….does the little things necessary to win games and is a great teammate,” Enid head coach Brad Gore said.
