Madalyn Neely was looking to gain more confidence going into this year as an Enid High
School cheerleader.
“I am definitely way more confident than I was last year,” said Neely, whose goal was for
her squad to make it to state this year. “I have more skill than I have in past years and I’m
very confident cheering.”
Neely, who has been the most influenced by her coaches and by her mom, says her most
memorable moment in cheer has been homecoming.
After high school, her plans are to go to college at the University of Oklahoma for physical
therapy. She carries a 4.0 GPA and she was an academic award winner on the cheer team
last year.
