Returning four starters the Kremlin- Hillsdale Lady Broncs are expecting to have a very good season after achieving 20 wins a year ago. Head coach Randy Vaught says that the team will have eight of their top nine rotation players back along with a talented group of freshmen joining the team. After making an appearance in the area tournament last year, expectations in Kremlin-Hillsdale are high, and with good reason. Aowyn Seek (Jr.) averaged 17.0 points and 8.0 rebounds as a freshman but only 

played in 11 games as a sophomore after dealing with injuries. However, Seek still managed to average a double-double even with defenses honing in on her. Look for the three-level scoring threat to return this year in impressive fashion. Ty Neal (Sr.) is an outstanding defender and runs the post for the Lady Broncs’ four-out offense. Neal shoots the ball at nearly 60% and averages just below a double-double with 8.0 points and 8.0 rebounds per game. Taryn Gray (Sr.) can space the floor and outhustle anyone on the court. Gray averaged 9.0 points, 2.0 rebounds, and a 2.0 steals last season. Gray is great at forcing turnovers and pressing opponents into mistakes. Pepper Elmore (So.) was a menace on defense last season and the team’s sixth man who brought energy off the bench with her elite speed.

Elmore will most likely crack the starting lineup this season and control the offense at point guard. Taryn Smith (Sr.) is a do-it-all player who doesn’t have huge stats but contributes everywhere with 4.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 2.0 steals per game. She logged a lot of gametime by leading the team in minutes played last year and is expected to do the same again in ‘22-23. Other players to look for include: Karol Smith (Sr.), Emma Aebi (Sr.), Morgan Hayes (Jr.), Taryn Ellis (Jr.), Libby Harris (Jr.), Ally Neal (So.), Jaidyn Castillon (So.), Audryn Dehdezi (So.), Linsey Lockhart (So.), Brenli Baker (So.), Maddy Lockhart (Fr.), Aidyn Seek (Fr.), Abbie LeCrone (Fr.), Addison Schovanec (Fr.), and Kira Granberg (Fr.).
