VYPE: When and how did you first get into playing your sport?
Bryson: I was around baseball from birth, I come from a long line of baseball players. Most of my family played baseball at least at the college level and some went even further.
VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?
Bryson: A former teammate of mine treated the game and his teammates with disrespect. It showed me exactly what I don’t want to be as a teammate and as a team captain.
VYPE: What has been your favorite memory of playing?
Bryson: Probably my one-hitter against Stroud last year. Our first pitcher of the game struggled and we started off rough, but then our team rallied and we ended up winning by 13 runs.
VYPE: What is your favorite part about representing your high school as an athlete?
Bryson: I love that being in athletics at Chisholm opens more opportunities to be a leader both on the field and in the school.
VYPE: Who inspires you and why?
Bryson: my parents because I’ve seen how hard they work and I want to give back to them one day.
VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade and why?
Bryson: My junior English teacher Ms. Weber. She’s extremely nice and she makes it to where her class is something I look forward to every day.
VYPE: What is the best advice that anyone has given you?
Bryson: If you make a mistake, let it go and make the most of your next opportunity.
VYPE: Here is your chance to give a shoutout or say thank you to anyone you wish.
Bryson: I want to give a shoutout to my parents and sister for the countless hours and money they spent watching me play, and for believing in me every step of the way.
