Q&A with Enid’s David Smith – Presented by RibCrib

VYPE:What are your goals this season? 

David: My goals for this season were to score a goal every game, win the first round of playoffs and go on to win state.

VYPE: What has your sport taught you that you use in your daily life? 

David: Soccer has taught me to always work hard, dedication and not everything will go as planned.

VYPE: What does your team mean to you?

David: My team means everything to me, we are family. I consider them my brothers.

VYPE: Who inspires you and why?

David: My dad inspires me, he has gone through a lot in his life and he teaches me to never give up and always have faith and believe in yourself.

VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why? 

David: My friend Raymond has left the biggest impression on me because he is always working hard and pushing himself to be the best he can.

VYPE: What is your favorite part about being on a team?  

David: My favorite part of being on a team is being able to play soccer with my friends.

VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you? 

David: If I could pick any place for a summer vacation it would probably be Hawaii and I would bring my friends Anthony and Carson

VYPE: What is the best advice you have ever received ?

David: Best advice I’ve received is to always be my best because you never know who’s watching.
