Jayce Evans just finished his high school career at Cashion High School where he was a member of the varsity wrestling and football teams. Evans also spent five years involved in the FFA chapter at school. 

As a senior, Evans wrestled at 138-pounds and was coming off an injury suffered during football season.

“This year was a challenge because I was struggling with coming off my broken back from football and knowing it was my senior season,” said Evans. 

In the eighth grade Evans joined the FFA and finished his FFA career as the chapter President at Cashion. 

“I’ve always been around FFA because of my family and was in 4-H Club when I was younger, and joined FFA my eighth-grade year,” said Evans. “I was chapter President, and was involved in livestock judging, archery, shotgun shooting, and swine and sheep showing. I enjoyed the opportunities it provided for me. Anyone can join FFA and find something for them that they love and can excel at.”

Evans plans to attend Murray State where he will participate in rodeo for two years before transferring to Oklahoma State University for a degree in animal science and later attend veterinary school.
