Based on fan voting in the Alva area hub, here are the top players at seven positions. 

OFFENSE

Quarterback: Brennar Fortune – Fairview

Fortune has worked this offseason and should be a key player this season.

Wide Receiver/Tight End: Isaiah Burris – Fairview

Isaiah was the team’s leading receiver as a freshman. He finished the year with 39 catches and 435 yards. He is very explosive wide receiver and he is also an extremely hard worker in the weight room.

Running Back: Blake Perez – Fairview

Last season, Perez registered 770 yards on the ground and also had 205 receiving yards with a combined ten touchdowns. He will serve again as a dual threat back that teams will have to keep an eye on. 

Offensive Lineman: Aiden Sanborn – Cherokee

Aiden is a hard worker and has always made football a priority and has been willing to do all the extra things to make himself better. He may be a little undersized to play on the offensive line, but what he lacks there he makes up for with attitude and effort.

DEFENSE

Linebacker: Tegan Gilchrist – Fairview

As a freshman, Tegan tallied 76 tackels. He has a lot of expectations as he enters his sophomore year.

Defensive Back: Brenner Fortune – Fairview

This will be Fortune’s last season to play high school football. He is looking to increase on his 69 tackles and three interception from a year ago.

Defensive Lineman: Austin Hodgden – Fairview

Hodgden will look to cause a lot of problems up front for the opposing offense.
