Lomega High School senior is a member of the varsity track team and the FFA chapter in Lomega.
Ott is a thrower in track, competing in the shot put and discus.
“I love the team camaraderie and the way we support one another in whatever we do,” said Ott. “What I love most about the team is coach Edsall, because he wants us to strive to do our best not only in athletics but also in life in general.”
FFA has been part of his life even before he was eligible to join, which he did in middle school.
“I joined the FFA at the beginning of my eighth-grade year. My brother was heavily involved in this organization and encouraged me to get into FFA. I like meeting new people from across the state of Oklahoma,” said Ott.
The senior is involved in showing livestock, public speaking and livestock judging. Outside of FFA and track Ott stays busy with several activities at Lomega.
“I am involved in the Student Council, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and I serve as president of these organizations. I’m also involved in basketball, track, and cross country,” said Ott.
After graduation Ott plans to attend college where he will pursue a degree in Animal Science with a Pre-Vet Option at Oklahoma State University.
