BOYS BASKETBALL

Kyler Penco – Alva

Kyler is a pure scorer that can shoot the ball very well from anywhere on the court. He has played a ton of basketball and is continuing to improve every day. Kyler can handle the ball and draws so much attention that he makes his teammates better with his passing.

Kolby Roberts – Cherokee

Kolby has some great potential on the offensive end and looks to be a team leader in scoring.

Huston Lane – Chisholm

Lane is a hard worker who will set the tone on the defensive side of the ball. He gets the team going in the right direction, and he can make plays on the offensive side of the ball as well.

Drake Daugherty – Covington- Douglas

He is a four-year starter that has been a role player for the last three years, but look for him to have a more active role in the offense this year. He has an act for rebounding and can finish around the rim.

Ayden Iverson – Enid

He is a floor general and a scoring threat. Plays both sides of the ball and is a tough competitor.

Austin Houk – Fairview

Austin loves to compete. He will play any position and take on any role to help his team be successful.

Tyler Butcher – Garber

One of the upperclassmen of this group that will have a huge impact not only with his play on both ends but also with his leadership skills.

Xavier Ridenour – Kingfisher

Xavier was last years leading scorer on the state championship team. He will look to pick up where he left off last year.

Eli Gonzales – Medford

Eli is an exceptional athlete. He is very explosive with quick feet, quick hands, and great leaping ability. His ability to score in transition puts pressure on ballhandlers, and his ability to rebound the basketball from the guard position are all things the team leans on him to do.

Carter Owens – Oklahoma Bible Academy

A three-year varsity starter, averaged just under 15 points last year and has continued to improve his shot. He is ultra competitive and is the hardest working player on the court every night. He is also a lockdown defender and extremely strong for his height.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Sawyer Stockton – Balko

A very versatile and athletic player that can score at the rim or from the three-point line. She shot over 40% from the three-point line last season. Rebounds extremely well for a guard. Undoubtedly will be our leader this season. Hard-nosed kid that has a passion for the game of basketball.

Jaycee Kelln – Alva

Jaycee is a sophomore and returning starter for the Ladybugs. Her role this year will change drastically as she will have to establish herself as a consistent scorer and fierce rebounder. She will also need to step up and be a strong leader for her team since three seniors graduated last year. She is quick and agile, can score from the inside and out, and has good instincts on the press. Jaycee looked really good at times this summer. She just needs to be consistent.

Riley Hensley – Cherokee

She is a tough kid and also a big leader for the team as far as effort and toughness. Looked up to by teammates and peers, Hensley does a great job of leading by example. Great student as well as a very active and successful athlete. Always in the gym, or weight room,

showing the younger kids what it takes to be successful.

Alice Watkins – Chisholm

A great athlete, Alice is a strong offensive threat that can score from the inside and outside.

Sydney Haken – Covington- Douglas

Sydney is an all-around player with a high basketball IQ. She works extremely hard and is a very competitive player. She is a true leader on and off the floor and carries a 4.0 GPA and goes out of her way to make an impact on everyone she comes across.

Leila Washington – Garber

Washington is a hard-working kid that does a great job of doing whatever she can to help her team be successful.

Peyton Walker – Kingfisher

Peyton was an outstanding point guard last season and looks to continue that role this season. Her high basketball IQ along with the ability to see the floor, knock down shots, and

lock down the other teams best players night in and night out are among the many tools she possesses as a player.

Clara Caldwell – Oklahoma Bible Academy

Clara does all of the little things that often times go un-noticed. She boxes out the other teams best rebounder so that a teammate can get that rebound. She deflects the pass that a teammate ends up stealing. She dives for the loose ball that gives us an extra possession. She makes the extra pass on the fast break when a lot of players would shoot a difficult shot.

Greyc’n Anderson – Ringwood

She was all-conference as a junior and the team most valuable player. She is a 5-foot- 8 guard that is like having a swiss army knife. She can do anything you need her to. She is very coachable, deceptively quick, runs the floor., and can beat you from inside or outside. Greyc’n is a great player and person. She is in the gym anytime its open working on her game and getting better.

Riley Moore – Woodward

Riley is a returning part time starter. She will be coming in with a new role to fill this season as a junior, she will be asked to have more of a scoring role. She is a strong leader that demands hard work and dedication from not just herself but her teammates as well.
