VYPE: What school do you attend and what grade are you in?
Thomas: I am a junior at Waynoka High School.
VYPE: How did you first hear about Northwest Tech and what program are you in?
Thomas: I attend Northwest Tech in Alva. I heard about the tech through my high school. I am in the computer & business program. I was interested in learning more about computers, so I enrolled and went.
VYPE: How do you think Tech is preparing you for your future career?
Thomas: Tech has prepared me by giving me skills I can use as an IT technician in my future career.
VYPE: What would you say to someone who is considering attending Tech?
Thomas: I would say it is a great place to learn a trade or even get some high school credits, but also a place where you can make friends.
VYPE: What made you decide on the program you are taking?
Thomas: I wanted to learn more about computers and what limits I could reach with them.
VYPE: Who have been some of your biggest influences or role models? Why?
Thomas: My dad, he’s always pushed me to be a better person tomorrow than I was today.
VYPE: What is the most memorable moment as a member of the Waynoka 4H program?
Thomas: When I qualified for the National Shooting Sports Competition.
VYPE: What do you enjoy most about competing?
Thomas: The amount of safety involved and how friendly everyone is.
VYPE: What are your plans after high school?
Thomas: I plan on attending college and getting a degree that allows me to be in IT.
