OFFENSE

The Wildcats return six starters on offense and they are working hard to improve over during the offseason. Playing quarterback will be Kaden Manuel (5-11, 215, So.) and he will have plenty of targets this season. The trio of Jarrett Tautfest (5-10, 160, Sr.), Coy Louthan (5-7, 165, Sr.), and Hudson Hamar (5-11, 150, So.) return to be a tough wide receiver corp for opponents to deal with. Colten Bowen (5-10, 240, Jr.) will help lead the offensive line, while athlete Cody Pester (6-1, 150, Jr.) will play wherever he is needed.

DEFENSE

Head coach Gary Manuel knows that while his team may be outsized, that does not mean they cannot still win. “We are going to have to play tough,” he said. “We will look to be more fundamentally sound with our technique because we are going to be undersized.” Hamar and Pester will be patrolling the secondary, while defensive end Newt Hutchison (5-10, 170, Jr.) is causing the opponents problems at the line of scrimmage. Linebackers Brock Gore (5-9, 160, So.) and Manuel will be working hard to get to the ball.
