OFFENSE

A trip to the state quarterfinals last year has set the tone for the 2021 season. Head coach Tanner Allen and the Railroaders are looking forward at taking another shot at advancing further in the playoffs. Jace Dunn (5-10, 165, Jr.) will start at running back with Drake Brady (5-9, 200, Sr.) at fullback. The tandem gives the Railroaders a nice change of pace in the backfield. Teegan Allison (6-0, 165, Jr.) returns at quarterback adding a run/pass element to the offense. One of his targets will be senior Robert Perot (5-10, 165). Perot and tight end Kooper Rich (6-6, 235, So.) are excellent targets. Rich will play a big role in the run game as an edge blocker. Wyatt Atwood (6-2, 225, Jr.) will anchor the offensive line and help protect Allison on throwing downs. Keep an eye on Jace Dunn this season. His speed and versatility make him a weapon on every down. 

DEFENSE 

Brady and Perot will start at linebacker where their ability to understand what an offense is doing will allow them to read and react quicker than most. Playing downhill and swarming to the ball is not only a goal, but a mantra. Perot is a utility type player who can play nearly every position on the field. Dunn will start at safety where his athleticism will allow him to roam the field. Atwood and Rich will bookend the defensive line at end. Both guys can pressure the quarterback and disrupt the backfield. Six total starters are back this season which means the experience level is high.
