VYPE: When and how did you first decide to join the Academic Team?
Ethan: My eighth-grade English teacher suggested that I should join it and I went and joined it.

VYPE: What has your sport taught you that you use in your daily life?
Ethan: Being a part of the Academic Team has helped me learn to work better with a team.

VYPE: Why are you passionate about your sport?
Ethan: I’m a very competitive person and love random trivia.

VYPE: What is your favorite part about representing your high school as an athlete?
Ethan: Competing against other schools and showing what our school is made of.

VYPE: Who inspires you?
Ethan: I’d say my parents because they are hard-working and caring people, which is the type of person I want to be.

VYPE: What is the best advice that anyone has given you?
Ethan: To have fun. I’ve been told throughout my life, that no matter what you’re doing, especially competing, just have fun with it.

VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you?
Ethan: Italy or the Caribbean and I’d take my family with me.

VYPE: Are you involved in any other activities?
Ethan: Along with the Academic Team, I’m also involved in the National Honor Society and Student Council.
