Woodward

Getting to know Woodward soccer player Bryleigh Douglas-Fischer – Presented by Bank7

VYPE: What are your goals for this season?

Bryleigh: My goals this season are to be more of a leader and be a good teammate.

VYPE: What has your sport taught you that you use in your daily life?

Bryleigh: It has really taught me that everything isn’t going to go your way all the time or how you want it, but it’s up to you to keep moving forward from it.

VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade and why?

Bryleigh: My favorite teacher would be Mrs. Natalie Rose. She was one of my elementary teachers and still to this day checks in on me.

VYPE: Who inspires you and why?

Bryleigh: My mom is the person who inspires me the most. She’s one of the strongest and hardest working people I know and is my biggest supporter.

VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?

Bryleigh: Airyn Farley left the biggest impression on me my freshman year. She was one of the biggest leaders on our team and helped me on and off the field.

VYPE: What is your favorite part about being on a team?

Bryleigh: My favorite part about being on a team is they turn into your family and people who you will remember forever. A team is really important to me and always will be.

VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you?

Bryleigh: A vacation I would want to go on is to Hawaii. I have been there before and I had a great time. I would take my brother because he is very fun to be around and my best friend.

VYPE: Why are you passionate about your sport?

Bryleigh: I am passionate about this sport because I have been playing it ever since I was a little girl and have had a love for it ever since. Also the memories that come out of it, making best friends and family is one thing I love about it the most.

VYPE: Here is your chance to say hello, goodbye or thank you to anyone you wish.

Bryleigh: Thank you to all my family and friends that have supported me in everything that I do, I appreciate it more than anything!!!
