Getting to know Woodward’s Ethan Matt – Presented by Randy’s Pharmacy

VYPE: What are your goals for this season?

Ethan: To have one last good season with my teammates before I graduate.

VYPE: What has your sport taught you that you use in your daily life?

Ethan: To look, everyone has certain ways of doing the same thing.

VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade and why?

Ethan: Mrs. Cruse has been my favorite teacher that I’ve had in my high school career. She is always in a good mood and is very understanding with every student she has and what they are going through at school and at home.

VYPE: Who inspires you and why?

Ethan: My grandpa has always been a role model to me since I was young. He has made a huge impact in my life and made me into the person I am today.

VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?

Ethan: Talbot Iliff has made a huge impact on my baseball career ever since we played 6U ball together. We have always played together and he’s just a great guy to be around!

VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you?

Ethan: If I was to go on a summer vacation, I would go to Florida and go to the beach with my friends.

VYPE: Why are you passionate about your sport?

Ethan: My passion for baseball started at a really young age and has continued through my high school career.

VYPE: Here is your chance to say hello, goodbye or thank you to anyone you wish.

Ethan: I would like to say a thank you to every coach I’ve had over the years and thank them for all the time and energy they have invested into me, and the sacrifices that have come along the way. I would also like to thank all of the teammates I have played with in high school ball. Through the good and the bad, they always have been positive and been good teammates.
