VYPE: What is your favorite part about representing your high school as an athlete?

Blaine: The energy that Vici High School gives off is unbelievable and the support that the fans give is amazing.

VYPE: When and how did you first get into playing your sport?

Blaine: My dad got me my first baseball bat and ball at two years old. He started working with me because it was his favorite sport and he couldn’t wait to teach me.

VYPE: Why are you passionate about your sport?

Blaine: It’s the sport my dad started teaching me when I was young, and from there, I’ve only grown to love it more.

VYPE: What is your favorite part about being on a team?

Blaine: My favorite part about being on a team would be my teammates and how far we have come as a team and learned together.

VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?

Blaine: Cade Trotter has always helped me get through the things I have struggled with.

VYPE: Which professional athlete do you look up to and why?

Blaine: Jordy Mercer. He has shown that no matter how small of a school you come from as long as you work hard, you can make your dreams come true.

VYPE: Who inspires you and why?

Blaine: My dad inspires me to do great things. He’s always wanted what’s best for me and has always worked hard to support me and my family.

VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you?

Blaine: Alaska. I’d take my family with me so we could all experience one of the prettiest places together.

VYPE: Here is your chance to give a shoutout or say thank you to anyone you wish.

Blaine: I’d like to thank my parents and grandparents for always believing in me and Vici High School for giving me this opportunity.
