Vici’s Kaleb Moss – Athlete Spotlight – Presented By Farm Credit of Enid

When Kaleb Moss first entered the eighth grade, he knew he wanted to do two things; play sports and be part of the FFA chapter at school.

“I became involved in the FFA my eighth-grade year,” said Moss. “I didn’t need necessarily encouragement to join FFA, but my older sister was my biggest inspiration to.”

Another family member who has played a big role in his life is his grandfather.

“My grandpa has been the biggest influence in my life, he’s helped me whenever I’ve needed it and is always kind and faithful,” said Moss.

After finishing his junior year, Moss is looking forward to his final year of high school and the opportunities he will have in FFA and on the basketball court and baseball field.

“I am our chapter Vice President, and I am involved mainly in showing livestock,” said Moss. “I play basketball and baseball which usually takes up most of my time.”

Moss said his favorite reason for being involved in FFA are the friends he’s made over the years.

“What I love most about FFA are the friends and experience I’ve gained,” said Moss.

As a student who shows cattle and plays sports, Moss said anyone looking to be part of the FFA should jump at the opportunity.

“Just do it you won’t regret it,” said Moss.

Moss plans to finish high school and pursue a degree in college, eventually working as an accountant.
