VYPE: What grade are you in and what sports do you play?
Lexi: I am a sophomore at Woodward High School where I play basketball, slowpitch softball, and fastpitch softball.
VYPE: What motivates you?
Lexi: My motivation comes from wanting to be the best I can be at everything.
VYPE: What has it taken to be successful in your sports?
Lexi: To be successful in my sports, it takes a lot of hard work and effort. Going to the gym, field, cages 3-4 times a week.
VYPE: What has been the highlight moment of your career?
Lexi: Highlight moment of my career was hitting a bomb off of Jaycee Kelln. I’ve played against her my whole life and she’s a very good pitcher.
VYPE: Is there an opponent that you enjoy beating the most?
Lexi: The opponent I enjoy beating the most is Elk City in basketball and softball. We played Elk City multiples times in softball and every game was close and competitive.
VYPE: Which teammate do you enjoy working against the most with in practice?
Lexi: The teammate I enjoy working against is probably Riley Moore or Jocelyn Treece. Doing something good against an upperclassman is always a good feeling knowing they’ve experienced more than you.
VYPE: What does it mean to you to represent your school and community when you play?
Lexi: I like to represent my school and community well, but I play for God and the ability that He gave me.
VYPE: What clubs and campus activities are you involved with?
Lexi: I am involved in the National Honor Society, Pep Club, and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. I will be playing on Team Oklahoma this summer out of Piedmont.
VYPE: Who is your favorite person you follow on social media?
Lexi: My favorite account I follow on Social Media is Oklahoma Softball. I love watching them play and seeing all the highlights posted.
