BUFFALO BISON
Coach: DUSTY YAUK
6-5
OFFENSE
Head coach Dusty Yauk is in his tenth season as head coach of the Buffalo football program. Coach Yauk is excited to see this group on the field and what they can potentially accomplish together. “We return four starters on offense and five starters on defense. We had a very good year last year considering the injuries we dealt with throughout. We will have several returning that gained valuable experience last year as well. The key will be finding someone to step in at quarterback,” said coach Yauk. Francisco Mata (Sr.) and Eloy Estrada (Fr.) are both looking to be that guy. Emilio Ceniceros (6-0, 220, Jr.) rushed for 745 yards with 422 yards receiving and 12 touchdowns as a sophomore. The line will be anchored by Hadley Hickman and Braxton Olmstead. Raul Arredondo and Sebastian Hoffman return at skill positions on offense according to coach Yauk. “We will run multiple formations to try to get our players the best opportunity to be successful,” said Yauk.
DEFENSE
“Defensively, those same names will be at the forefront as well. We will look at multiple different looks to see what is best going to fit our guys going forward,” said Yauk. Raul Arredondo (6-0, 185, Sr.) made 86 tackles from his linebacker spot last year. The Bison will run multiple formations trying to keep the opposing offense guessing. The coaching staff will consist of Ryan Nelson, J.J. Manning, and Tim Harland.
