Coach: Trey Johnson
21-22 Record: 11-14
Although last season did not go the way the Trojans had hoped, they are coming into the new season with a new leader and some familiar faces that are looking to get the job done. Trey Johnson is in his second year as the head coach but the team is full of guys that love the game and are not afraid to work. Jakob Colby (Jr.) will be a force for opponents to deal with on both ends of the court. He is a hard worker that is willing to do whatever is necessary to help his team win. One of the younger guys that should have a bigger impact this season is one of the team’s point guards, Brant Owens (So.). He puts in the work every single day and is a player to keep your eye on. He brings a lot to the floor and as he continues to work, his role will expand. The other point guard on the team is Jud Cheatham (Jr.). He has been a key part of the team the past couple of seasons and this year should not be any different. He is a hard worker and a guy that is always going to figure out how to leave a mark on the court.
Other members of the team that will look to play a role in the team’s success this season are Shooting guard Kaleb Mendoza (Jr.), small forward/power forward Bodie Boydstun (Sr.), small forward Eli Litchy (Jr.), power forward Thomas Campbell (Jr.), shooting guard Lawson Morgan (Jr.), power forward Paul Arwakon (Fr.), shooting guard/small forward Harry Nunez (Sr.), power forward/center Harrison Crow (Jr.), power forward/center Jackson Crow (Jr.). The assistant coach is Titus Burrell.
