OFFENSE

The Tigers fell one game short of winning the Class C Championship and an undefeated season. But with a solid number of returning starters, they are ready to get back and hoist the trophy this time. Ethan Jenlink (5-9, 170, Sr.) is back at quarterback after having 1,800 passing yards a year ago. Joining him in the backfield will be running backs JJ Pippin (5-10, 170, Sr.) and Carter Sands (5-9, 180, Jr.), who combined for 2,067 total yards last season and look to continue to make an impact. Merric Judd (5-11, 165, Jr.) will be playing split end again this year after having 980 receiving yards. The Tigers have two All-District linemen returning in Cade Severin (5-11, 180, Sr.) and Colten Lormand (6-3, 240, Sr.).

DEFENSE

The Tigers had a strong defense last season, giving up an average of fourteen points per game a year ago while shutting out five opponents. They expect more of the same this season. Back to maintain things at the line will be nose guard Sands and defensive tackle Lormand, who combined for ninety-nine tackles last season. Returning to play linebacker, Severin totaled 82 tackles a year ago and has worked hard to get better. The trio of Pippen, Judd, and Jadon Adkisson (5-11, 160, Jr.) will continue to control things in the secondary. Last season, this group combined for 215 tackles and seven interceptions.
